You buy * Dummy doorknobs, and install ball catches on the top edge of the doors and the door jamb.
The dummy knobs are just knobs without any bolts/strikes (things that latch the door shut).
A ball catch is a spring loaded ball that rests in a corresponding catch. This keeps the door shut and is easy to pull/push open as the ball is on a spring.
You need a dummy knob for each side of each door, *they just screw on.
Then also purchase 2 ball catches *one for each door.
Ask the person in the hardware section to help you find all of these things.

One door will be the active door and the other will be fixed with a sliding bolt into the top jamb and/or the floor. The doorknob will go on the active door, with the strikeplate on the inactive one. A matching dummy knob will go on the inactive one.
